Michael Kompatscher
Michael Kompatscher is an assistant professor at the Department of Algebra, Charles University in Prague. His research sits at the intersection of universal algebra and theoretical computer science, with a particular focus on constraint satisfaction problems, nilpotent algebras, and the complexity of equation solving. He completed his PhD at TU Wien in 2017 and has since held postdoctoral positions at the University of Oxford and Charles University.
