Manuel Leithner
Manuel Leithner is a senior information security researcher at SBA Research Vienna and team lead of the CST (Combinatorial Security Testing) team. He is additionally affiliated with the University of Salzburg as a scientific staff member and with Fachhochschule Salzburg as a researcher. His work focuses on combinatorial security testing with an emphasis on protocol, firmware, and web vulnerabilities, as well as reverse engineering and dynamic analysis. He holds BSc and MSc degrees in IT and information security from FH St. Pölten and is currently pursuing a PhD, developing methods to infer input parameter models for combinatorial testing via reverse engineering.
